Sunday Worship
Worship services are held on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Trinity United Church. Our worship is inspirational and encourages and leaves us with great hope, ever mindful of the scripture, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We do not have an ordained minister at this time as we continue to search for pastor leadership. In the meantime, we are grateful in our ability to fill our pulpit each week with a variety of talented and inspiring worship leaders. The Sacrament of Communion is celebrated four times a year with an ordained minister.
Sunday School
Faith Trinity United Church Sunday School welcomes all children and meets from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. The children join the congregation in the church with their families during the first ten minutes of the service and leave for Sunday School in our church hall after the Children’s Story. During Sunday School, also referred to as “Kid’s Club”, the children learn about God’s love through singing songs, offering a collection, listening to Bible stories, and completing art projects each week. A snack is also served. The children’s weekly collection goes to helping children in need by donating to toy drives, food banks, local groups aiding children, and sponsoring children to provide a better life for them. The Sunday School children perform in our church several times a year, and are very involved in our White Gift and Christmas Eve Service, by sharing their gifts of singing, reading, and playing of musical instruments during the services.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”
Matthew 19: 14
Women’s Prayer and Bible Study Group
The Women’s Prayer and Bible Study Group meet each Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. to study scripture and pray together in our church meeting room. Knitted blankets are prayed upon and distributed to those within our community in need of God’s healing touch. These Prayer Blankets surround and comfort those in need, bringing God’s wonderful healing peace that calms our fears and shelters us with his loving arms, reminding us that He is near. The group keeps an up to date prayer list remembering those in need of prayer, and also praise for answered prayers. Members keep each other updated on who needs prayers, phone calls or a visit, and ask that the community also lets them know of anyone they feel is in need of a Prayer Blanket. Our “Prayer Warriors” always keep our church and community in their prayers.
“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1: 6-7
United Church Women
The United Church Women (UCW) meet the second Tuesday of each month in the afternoon in the church meeting room. Each meeting begins with the women reciting the UCW purpose followed by devotionals, prayers and fellowship. Each meeting ends with the UCW prayer. The UCW assists our church and our community whenever they are able by providing funds to purchase items for the church and hall, support the Sunday School, local hospices, local food banks, and other groups helping those in need. They give their time and resources to provide older community members living in retirement homes, in hospitals, and shut-ins, cookie trays each Christmas, host luncheons such as for our Anniversary and White Gift services, and host funerals and cater events, on a limited basis. The UCW members have sewn a banner that is displayed at the front of our church.
“Know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. “
Revelations 2:19
Missions
Our greatest mission and outreach is in Faith Missions, which covers many areas of local community needs. Faith Missions is a committee of Faith Trinity United Church that directs and disperses funds for Christian outreach, emergency help, and social assistance locally and worldwide. Our purpose is to draw congregational members together into collaborative and effective Christian outreach, and to exercise local discretion over the causes and projects we support. Supporting local food banks is our priority but we also support other organizations that are helping youth in need in our area and reach out to families in our community who can use a helping hand.
Your gifts to Mission & Service (United Church of Canada) help people in need in Canada and around the world by providing access to food, housing and employment support. Through special emergency response appeals, your gifts make an immediate life-saving difference.
Donations to both Faith Missions, and Mission and Service are always welcome and can be made by cheque or e-transfer through your contributions to our church. Please designate on your donation where you would like it to go. Both mission groups are available on our weekly church envelopes, as well.
Celebrations
At Faith Trinity United Church, we believe that the Sacrament of Baptism is a celebration of the grace of God and the action of the Holy Spirit in a new life. Baptism Sundays are held once or twice a year during regular services and are available to members of our church and their children.
Faith Trinity United Church is a beautiful site for a wedding. We are a small country church boasting a beautiful sanctuary with many stained glass windows, dark wooden pews seating 100 people comfortably, impressive pulpit area, and outdoor landscaping. You do not need to be a member of Faith Trinity United Church to have your ceremony here. We can provide a minister for your ceremony or you can arrange for your own.
If you know someone or have a family member who is seeking Baptism, Marriage or a Celebration of Life, please contact the church office by phone at 519-695-3407 or by e-mail at [email protected].
Hall for Rental
Faith Trinity United Church has a hall situated across the street from our church available to be used for church fellowship meals and meetings, family gatherings, birthday and anniversary open houses, bridal and baby showers, family Christmases and meetings. The hall accommodates 75 people comfortably. Both our church and hall are accessible.

We Appreciate Your Generosity
One of the ways in which we offer thanks to God is through our financial giving. Whether you give on a Sunday or from the convenience of home, there are several ways to give at Faith Trinity United Church.
